Peace Over War

This is something we posted on our social several days ago.

When terrible things happen in the world, our hearts and prayers go to those who are affected, those who are suffering.

At the same time we think of our sins, as a human being. Because we believe it’s our imperfection, you can call it sin, that causes all those terrible things in this world.

Now let me talk about war.

I’m just an indie musician and I don’t know so much about the world and society.

However, during the short time I spent on this planet, I noticed some things.
I noticed that human beings strongly seek two things.
One is money. The other is power.

You might think it’s funny because it’s very apparent. But I was so much immersed in music and art, I didn’t really realize it until recently.

People want money and power.
Because they think they can do whatever they want, once they got those things.

But it’s not true.
You can’t achieve important stuff with money, power, nor fame.
All you need is love, faith, and perseverance.

It’s surely a devil’s lie, that makes you think you need those things to achieve your goal.

I honestly feel, wars and conflicts happen because so many people are seeking this kind of money and power. Because they want to have their way over others with those things.

If less and less people believe in those things, there probably will be no more war.

Politics and economy are complicated things. But in the spiritual world, things are often simple.

Believe, that is not an easy thing to do.
Love, that is not an easy thing to understand.
Only through Christ, we can really believe and love.
As Christians, we know that is true.

As we pray for the protection and God’s mercy for people, we trust and believe that people on this Planet Earth will choose peace over war, love over hate, and faith over power.

Let us believe
Peace and God’s Kingdom
In Jesus’ name

Maybe it’s too apparent but here is a Bible quote:

– Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.-
James 4:1~4 (NKJV)
