Charity Live Event “Yorisoi 2026” at Asao Christ Church
What an amazing day!!
Even though the event organizer was unexpectedly unable to return from the United States, everyone came together, worked as a team, and made the event a great success.

The whole day was filled with God’s blessings, love, and encouragement. π
This event was created by our good friends “Ko and Saori” with the mission of raising awareness for suicide prevention. Following last year’s event, this was the second time it was held.
All of the charity donations collected will be given to the Shirahama Rescue Network in Wakayama Prefecture. The event also encourages all of us to become “gatekeepers”βpeople who look out for those around us, reach out with care, and help protect lives.
As for Imari Tones…
Since Kenshin had the day off, Tak and Marie performed three songs as a duo.

On a personal note…
I finally brought out my Japanese vintage “Buc’ee-kun” guitar, which I’d been saving for when I got older. π Its vintage character made it a little challenging to dial in a heavy metal tone, but I could definitely feel its potential. And visually, I think it suited me pretty well too! (A regular Stratocaster has never really looked right on me, but this one just might. π)
Meanwhile, Marie was a huge help behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly while the organizer was away.
More than anything, though, the greatest blessing was seeing everyone come together with kindness, making music together, and helping make the event such a success.
The church was nearly full, the atmosphere was wonderful, and everyone had a fantastic time.
Let’s do it again next year!
