It’s time for us to remember and give thanks.
Now it’s been 3 years since the fire.
On June 11, 2023, there was a fire in the apartment building where we (Tak & Marie) were living.
We lost our home, and were taken in and supported by Asao Christ Church.
It was a life-changing event -but looking back, it wasn’t the fire itself that changed our lives. It was the love we received from all of you.
We received support from so many friends and fans, and because of that, we were able to keep rocking.
We also met many wonderful people through Asao Christ Church, and it became a new beginning for us.
That is where “Heavy Metal Church” was born.
We could have died that day, but by God’s mercy, we were saved.
Looking back now, it’s amazing how everything unfolded.
We can’t help but feel God’s guidance and plan in it all.
If the fire had never happened, we might never have met so many dear friends.
There might have been no Heavy Metal Church, and our album “Coming Back Alive” would surely have become something very different.
There would have been no 2024 Texas / Tennessee / Ohio tour, and we might never have met our young drummer, Kenshin.
Even now, it feels amazing that we are still here, still rocking.
Just last week, we were blessed to hold a wonderful Heavy Metal Church event at a large church in Tokyo.
And now, we are getting ready to release a brand new album.
We will keep rocking for Jesus.
