Here is the video description for “Passion” music video

Imari Tones are combining Christian metal and Japanese traditional culture. This video takes place in Japanese traditional “Noh” theater and tea ceremony room. Dressed in Samurai Metal style, Imari Tones are showing off some Japanese spirit.

Song title “Passion” means both strong emotion and the sufferings of Christ on the cross.
This is a song for people who try to find the real God and truth, in spite of difficulties and tough situations around them.
It is a song about a spiritual battle. A battle within one’s mind. Just like ancient Japanese Bushido, we have to fight the enemy within ourselves. In order to avoid idol worship, you have to overcome your own desire and temptations.

The main theme of this video is self discipline. So when the band sings “destroy every idol”, that means breaking idols in your own mind. Because you must deny those idols in order to find the real God. Declaring Jesus is the Lord with a loud voice, this is one of the most aggressive songs from Imari Tones. But you have to understand this is all about spiritual battle, not about attacking other people or destroying statues and buildings.

As serious as the song goes, Imari Tones do their best to entertain. Tone and Shinryu show off their sword and martial arts skills while Marie boasts her beauty by dancing with Japanese Sensu folding fans.
Also you will be surprised at how friendly and comical they can be, which is why Imari Tones are loved by their fans.
Coolness, beauty, sword action and martial arts, funny jokes and heavy metal sound, all along with Christian faith.
You won’t believe it until you see it.
