Here is the new music video.
It’s the first video and the title track from our upcoming “Overture” album.
Overture is a very personal album. That’s why we wrote all the songs in Japanese language. Whole Overture album is an homage to the memory of [Tone-Hassy-Jake] lineup of Imari Tones that had been making music together for 10years (2008-2018).
I don’t know how you react to this very personal song and video (also cheap cigar thing and my not-so-clean face closeup). It is not a typical “Let’s be a good Christian” song, even though it is strongly asking “Do you really believe in God?” message.
Here is the English translation of the lyrics.
(However, frankly, I feel there is no way to translate this into English, because of language structure and culture/background difference.)

Fanfare for Heaven echoes
This is a prelude, this is a prelude
Finally the day has come
Yes it has
I want to take you there with me
I’m going to ask you even if you would say no
Hey won’t you give it a try this time?
It’s not difficult to pretend that you believe
The method to believe, no one can teach you
It’s not uncommon to pretend that you love
The courage to get hurt, you can’t buy it anywhere
I guess that’s the answer
Final bell for an ordinary life
This is the end, this is the end
I’ve always felt sick of this unpleasant sound
The sound
I want to run away with you
I’m going to ask you even if you would say no
Hey won’t you take a chance this time?
It’s not difficult to pretend that you have nothing
The method to lie, you don’t need anyone to teach you
It’s not uncommon to pretend that nothing has happened
The ticket to the good old days, you can’t buy it anywhere
I guess that’s the reason
The train is leaving, heading to the day
The visa for Heaven, they gonna issue for you
The letters to the sweetie, flying in the air
You can’t help but sigh, just the way you feel
It’s not difficult to pretend that you believed
It’s not uncommon to pretend that you loved
The plane is leaving, just like the old day
Now you don’t have to hide your emotion
