Heavy Metal Church vol.4 Recap – Imari Tones – The First Christian Heavy Metal from Japan

(Okay, again it’s time to catch up and update the website! While we post on our social media pages more often and in a timely manner, our website post is slow. So here are things that happened in the last 2months or so!)

June 6th 2026 at Chuo Fukuin Church, Ikebukuro Tokyo
It was a BIG success and a HUGE blessing!!!😆

We can’t be thankful enough for everyone who attended, supported and prayed for us.
Thank you very much!!!!

It was a life changing event for all of us.
We feel like it was a new start in the history of “Christianity in Japan”. (I mean, a small step but a big start😉)

So many miracles – so many awesome things – so much joy and happiness. We don’t even know where to start!
So many great moments: photos and movies – we can’t even decide which one we should post first! (And it takes time to post them all!)

– One thing: Livestreaming on YouTube didn’t go as planned due to some technical reasons. Especially sound quality. We are sorry about that. However, we have everything filmed by a professional cameraman. We promise we will post a high quality movie (whole event archive you can watch and enjoy) sometime later.

More than a hundred people showed up. That includes a considerable number of non-Christian metalheads. (Even though not everyone was included in the last picture.) It’s a great turn out for “Christian Metal” in Japan and we are certain it will be bigger.

We, Imari Tones, delivered one of the best performances we’ve ever done, with some strong faith messages.
