First music video from our new album!
Our new album “Diary Of A Godman” is our tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. Most songs on the album were written in classic hard rock style of 1980’s.
However, this song “Good News” is something more than that. It is a song that continues the musical path Imari Tones has been exploring in recent years.
It’s a heavy metal song about the Christian legacy in Japan, inspired by Japanese history.
The song tells the story of what happened when Christianity first arrived in Japan. It was not necessarily a happy story. It brought persecution and bloodshed, and began a battle that continues to this day. The song portrays the social conflict and spiritual warfare faced by those who seek the truth. Throughout Japan’s long history of persecution, many Christians had to give up their lives in order to keep their faith.
We’re grateful that we were able to film this video at Ikebukuro Central Gospel Church. It was filmed during the “Heavy Metal Church Vol.4 Numbers” event on June 6, 2026, by our friend and cameraman, Shinichi Ohara.
On July 22, the anniversary of Ozzy Osbourne’s passing, we will release “Diary Of A Godman.” At the same time, we’ll also premiere the music video for the album’s title track, our tribute to Ozzy. We hope you’ll look forward to it.
