Japanese band at American Backyard Party – Erie PA, private show
This is a video of Japanese Christian metal band Imari Tones. Their “unofficial” performance in Erie Pennsylvania on 17th July 2024.
At the same time, this is an invitation to our next party.
Here is the story.
In August 2026, our tour starts from Erie, Pennsylvania.
Erie is a beautiful town near Lake Erie.
The reason we start our tour from there is because it’s our tour partner’s hometown. Our good friend Funky Sunday Party (Scott Edward Jones) is from Erie.
Back in 2024, we visited Erie for the first time and we instantly fell in love with the nice little town.
We made many friends. And we decided to do something special for them. That was a “Backyard Show” at Scott’s.
It was something spontaneous. It was not planned. It was not an official show.
But it was fun. It was very special.
We have heard all the stories from rock legends.
All those great American bands in rock history, they all played this kind of “Backyard Parties” in their early days.
To us, those stories were like a fairy tale because that kind of crazy party is unthinkable in Japan.
And now we are playing this “American Backyard Party”? We felt like we were in a movie.
Surely, it was NOT the biggest show we’ve ever played. Equipment was limited, the sound was not really the best, but I think we delivered.

Yes we have another show in Erie, August 23 at Philly On The Rocks, but this one is something special and different. Because it’s a house party!
We party, meet people and hang out, enjoying great food and music.
At the same time, we are raising funds for the tour. We really appreciate your support!
(Because we drive all the way from Pennsylvania to Oregon!)
