No filter photos to close 2025

Here are our “no-filter” selfies.
(Tak & Marie — because we wanted to show our age as it is.
No need for Kenshin, since he’s only 20 years young! 😀
He’s basically like our child 😉)

Thank you, 2025.
We wanted to show our faces just as they are.

You may think it’s a bit odd, but we wanted to post something special.
As we reach the end of 2025, we wanted to show you what we really look like — no makeup, no filters, no tricks.
(Even though the room light managed to hide some wrinkles.)

Rock ’n’ roll is becoming “vintage music” in 2025.
We want to treat this “vintage music” the same way traditional art forms have been treated throughout history — like Kabuki, Noh, and Joruri.

And we ourselves want to become “vintage rock musicians” — playing old-school hard rock and metal rooted in real culture and tradition.
In our case, that tradition is the history of Japanese Kirishitans.

We are still young.
I don’t really know why.
Is it because we’re Japanese? Maybe.
But compared to our friends of the same age, we definitely feel younger.
Is it because of music?
Is it because of God’s grace?
I don’t know.

Tak’s hair still looks black.
Two years ago, it was completely black — 100%.
Now, if you look carefully, you can find some white hairs… even though they don’t really show up in photos.
Maybe in two or three years, we’ll look older.
Maybe our hair will turn gray.

Honestly, we can’t wait to become “vintage rockers.”
That’s when we’ll try different looks, different styles, and play music with more grace.
Maybe that’s when we’ll become more appreciated by Japanese audiences.

We’ve made so much music already.
We made young, energetic music.
We poured our pure passion into our songs.
As we got older, we started trying to create something more mature.
We wrote songs based on history and searched for our roots as Japanese musicians.

I think our next album will be a more mature one.
It will be created in a Japanese traditional style, based on Japanese culture and history.
That’s the kind of music we want to make right now.
(Okay — we are releasing a new EP next year, and that one is straight-up 1980s-style rock. I’m talking about a full album after that.)

Art is life.
Music reflects the lives of musicians.

That’s why we play music based on our personal beliefs —
Japanese spirit, love, freedom, rock, metal, blues, and faith in Jesus Christ.

We live by faith, and we die by faith.
We can’t wait to see what’s waiting for us at the end of this journey.
We truly hope it brings happiness to all of you.

Thank you so much for all your support in 2025.
God bless you even more in 2026.
