-Heavy Metal Church-
We have been working on this project since 2023.
Because it’s our dream to build a heavy metal church in Japan.
We have met heavy metal loving pastors and believers.
We are working on this together with them.
At this point, this is a music festival rather than an actual church.
But it’s making a splash in both metal music scene and Christian world.
We are not trying to build a big church with a big building.
It’s not about a church building nor church organization. It’s about people. It’s about faith.
All we want to do is… we just want to worship God in our best possible way, with the music we really believe in. For us, it’s heavy metal music.
In October, we are going to play the 3rd event for our heavy metal church project.
In 2023, we did it at our church. In 2024, we did it in an underground music venue in Yokohama.
For our 3rd event, we will come back to Asao Christ Church, a very important place for us.
This time, we are going to play “heavy metal worship songs”.
Together with our friends, we now made “Heavy Metal Church Japan Worship Team”.
We wrote our original songs – worship songs in a style of heavy metal music.
Those songs will be played live for the first time.
It’s an important step for our heavy metal church project.
The whole event will be streamed live. (That’s our plan.)
