Duo Style first show

We had a wonderful time playing a concert this past Sunday.
It was the first of three *Duo Style* shows we’re planning for this spring.

This season, we’re doing a few shows in a *Duo Style* format with just Tone and Marie.
Although we’ve welcomed our new young drummer, Kenshin, we’re not quite ready to play as a trio yet—please give us another couple of months!

Instead, as originally planned, we performed as a duo.
Helping us out was Marie’s favorite mascot character, Sounyan from the Sagami Railway. He took on the role of the drummer by operating Tak’s smartphone to play drum tracks.

For this show, we played several older songs in Japanese, from our early albums.
It felt like a rare and special opportunity to revisit that part of our music.

We’ve had the privilege of playing many times at Misono Baptist Church,
as part of a beautiful local Gospel concert series called “Over The Rainbow”.

This past Sunday marked the final event of the Over The Rainbow series, and since we’ve been part of it many times, it felt a little emotional for us.

As a metal band, we don’t often get the chance to play in churches,
so being able to perform in this space was something truly special for us.

We were also moved by the amazing performances from senior musicians, including the legendary Christian rock band B.D.Badge.
Watching them inspired us to carry on the legacy of Japanese Christian rock and continue this tradition with pride.

We got to meet so many friends and had a joyful, meaningful time.
It was truly a blessing.
Thank you so much! 🙏
