One of the most precious moments during the USA tour earlier was when we played an event with “Ko And Saori“.
They are a Japanese Gospel rock duo based in Chattanooga Tennessee.
Saori, the singer, has been a fan of Imari Tone since long time ago. We still remember when we first met her in Cleveland TN. We encouraged her (it was an encouragement for us, too), prayed for her, and we’ve been friends since.
Now she plays great Gospel Music (Rock, Blues, J-pop) both for Japanese and American people. We are very proud of her!
Ko, the guitarist, is also a great musician and he is releasing some great instrumental music. (Search “Ko Ito“)
He is one of the coolest person I’ve ever met.
They are working with a church in Japan for their suicide prevention program and they are seeking support from people. They are singing the message of hope in a very accessible way for Japanese people.
We are sure we are going to do some great things together with them in the future, whether it be in the USA or in Japan. (But our main focus here is Japan!!!😉)
