Merry Christmas from Imari Tones
Thank you for all the blessings we experienced in 2024.
This year has been an incredibly blessed one for us, filled with countless moments of grace and joy.
We were able to perform many wonderful and blessed concerts, including:
– A special event in January with probably the most famous pastor in Japan.
– Numerous music events at our home church, not only as Imari Tones but also featuring Tone’s acoustic solo performances and our special project, Dakeno Kakari.
– The second “Heavy Metal Church” event in March, followed by another spontaneous event in April, where even a film crew came to document the occasion.
– Touring with the legendary Brazilian Christian death metal band, Antidemon, in March and April.
– Performing alongside other Christian rock, punk, and metal bands like Tokeisou, The Spicky Heads, and Anakrino.
– Traveling for domestic shows in Osaka, Nagoya, Toyohashi, and Kakegawa.
– Delivering fantastic live performances in Tokyo at venues in Shimokitazawa and Shinjuku.
– A successful U.S. tour in July, with shows in Texas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
During our time in Texas, Tak and Marie had the chance to revisit the Japanese church where they had been baptized.
Through these live performances and tours, we met so many wonderful friends and amazing people. These connections are truly invaluable treasures to us.
Unfortunately, our samurai drummer, Shinryu, decided to leave the band after our Osaka show in September and the music video shoot in October. However, we are already excited about the next chapter that God is preparing for us. We feel we are ready to embark on something new and even more exciting than before.
And finally, we are about to release a new album, scheduled for February 2025!
Beyond these activities, so much happened in our personal lives this year. While 2023 was a miraculous year in which we were saved and supported by everyone after the fire, 2024 has been a year where we felt God providing answers in many aspects of our lives. These answers have been vital to us—not only musically but also spiritually and personally.
Inspired by these messages, we are now more determined than ever to pursue our mission of music—our “Heavy Metal Mission.”
We trust in God’s guidance.
Actually, 2025 is a special anniversary year for us.
We believe there is even more happiness and blessing ahead—for all of us.
Thank you so much for your warm support and encouragement.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎄✨
