We didn’t even know
We didn’t even care
We were living on the sacrifice

They say all the lies on TV
But in reality our town was forever lost
Forever lost
Once they told us it was absolutely safe
Now they say it’s okay because it was just one small town
Nobody dares to speak of this invisible rain
Pouring down on our children
We can use an umbrella when it rains
But what can we do to this invisible rain
Some people just ignore
They say all the lies on TV
But the poison is still flowing in this very moment
The world goes around as if nothing has happened
Was nothing learned?
Was nothing gained?
Do you even know what has happened
This tragedy will repeat again
Yes it will happen again
Until we completely ruin this place
We’re gonna ruin this place
Sun is shining
But it’s raining
It’s killing us
It’s killing your children

僕たちは知らなかった
気にかけたこともなかった
犠牲の上にこの生活が成り立っているのだと
誰のせいにすることもできない
けれどももし真実を知っていたら
僕たちは違う選択をしただろう
雨が降れば屋根の下に隠れることもできる
けれどもこの見えない雨をどうやって避けたらいい
人々は気にもかけず
テレビは嘘を言っている
けれども現実に僕たちの街は永遠に失われてしまった
永遠に失われたんだ
以前彼らはそれは絶対に安全だと言った
今では彼らは小さなひとつの街の犠牲は仕方が無いと言う
この見えない雨について語る者はおらず
それは子供たちの上に降り続ける
雨が降れば傘をさすこともできる
けれどもこの見えない雨からどうやって逃げればいい
無視を決め込む人たちもいる
テレビは嘘を言っている
けれどもこの瞬間にも毒は流れ続けている
世界はまるで何事もなかったかのように回る
何も学ばないのか
何も得られないのか
何が起きたかすら知らないのか
この悲劇はきっと繰り返す
そうまたきっと起こる
僕らがこの場所を完全にだめにしてしまうまで
僕らはこの場所をだめにしてしまうだろう
太陽は輝いている
けれども雨が降っている
僕らをゆっくりと殺していく
子供たちを殺していく
