“Coming Back Alive” – We’ve had this title in mind for years. Originally, the idea was to create something simple and down-to-earth after the musically adventurous Nabeshima album.

However, everything changed on June 11, 2023, when a fire broke out at the place where Tak and Marie were living. Suddenly, this title took on a whole new meaning—because we literally came back alive from the fire.

We lost our home, but somehow, we were guided to a church in Kawasaki City. With overwhelming support from our fans, we were able to keep rocking and complete this album. At the church, we met incredible people, and a new chapter in our journey began.
They even allowed us to record this album at the church, which felt like a dream come true. We’ll never forget the love and support we received from everyone. This album is our way of saying Thank You to all of you.

Musically, this album is simple, straightforward 1980s-inspired hard rock. While Nabeshima explored the fusion of Japanese traditional music and Christian rock, this time, we wanted to create a more straightforward rock album — fun, happy, easygoing, and full of joy. We’ve poured our message of faith and gratitude into these songs.

This album includes many fun tracks. “Love Resurrection” is about eternal love. “Message From Above” tells the story of a life transformed by love. “Rock In Heaven” reveals the true purpose of rock music. And you’ll be surprised by the incredible voice of a cat on “This Cat Says Hallelujah.”

Looking ahead, we plan to carry forward the spirit of Nabeshima and continue crafting rock music infused with traditional Japanese elements. But for now, we’re excited to share this album with you. It takes back to our teenage spirit – passionate and straightforward music.
We believe this music rings out in Heaven, and we hope it brings you joy here on Earth.
